Soda Bottle Flower Bouquet

It was a chilly morning in the first week of January 2014 when i decided to put away my Christmas decors. As I was trying to box away the christmas lights, an idea suddenly hit me... what if i put these lights inside a vase and make some sort of a night light.

Then I remembered I have some plastic soda bottles already cut in half, petals already cut into shape... ignoring making breakfast, I immediately launched into DYI mode and tried to see how my idea would take into shape. (I forgot to eat breakfast too).

I might find some time over the weekend to create a step by step photo tutorial. 

I have extra nail polish with glitters that I decided to apply on the petals.

As for the color, I used spray paint, in aquamarine

I remember doing this because I  came across a pinner from pinterest who was pinning DYI organizers and crafts. I read a comment on one of her pins that she cant imagine ever decorating her house with upcycled plastic bottles.

Well, what about wearing one? :D
